I have had this shell for a while now but have reluctantly given into the conclusion that I need space and ideally more funds to spend on several projects ahead of it.

It's a 1971 old Irish registered Porsche 911 T with brown logbook, right hand drive and fitted with a 2.2L flat six on Webers. Since I've owned it I have it garaged inside all the time but it did spend time outside before then so it's not mint...:D

It needs work, water has got in around the sunroof opening so one side of the roof is poor and sills have seen better days. Both doors are shot and not worth replacing but to counter these bad bits there are some very strong, solid portions in the car - rear quarters look ok, rear seat mounts, torsion mounts, etc.

It's stripped to a shell at the moment so a good chance to see what you would be getting. I've no interior for it (except two rear bolsters) and currently in the process of sourcing a front and rear screens and side windows.

At some stage in it's life it received RS arches front and rear which have been done ok - to compliment this the shell also has matching RS front and rear bumbers and the all important duck-tail.

It's currently rolling on a set of 924 Turbo wheels as they keep air :D but I do have a set of 7/8" Fuchs that will go with it if I get the asking price. IIRC, the 7's are original Fuchs, the 8's look to be replicas (shown mounted in photos).

I'll post more photos later but here's a couple to get the ball rolling anyway.

Price wise, I was thinking €SOLD - it could be sold without the Fuchs for about €1k less but they do fill the arches very nicely... ;)

Give the way prices for early, longhood 911s have gone in the last few years and the fact it carries it's nice Irish reg number you'd have a very nice car that could wear it's number with pride. Some repair pieces, doors from Britt would go a long way for this...otherwise have the first 911-rat at Vagdriver's this summer, it already has the patina... :D

UPDATE: SOLD

Now thats a project I'd really love to do - but unfortunately I've too many already an no time for anything at the moment! Probably just as well I've no money an no room in the shed right now! Good luck with the sale.

That seems to be my problem too, too many projects all needing space and funds to spend on them, would love to keep everything if possible!

For an early 911 it is very cheap for someone who knows them inside out, but not for someone who doesnt have a clue and thinks "WOW a cheap early 911 ill have that on the raod in no time", HAHA no chance you cant even compare stuff on these to beetles for prices and ease of getting parts a novice would get depressed quickly, a butcher (lol) could get it done cheap enough but itll always be a butcher job, it needs work, im sure any porsche guy worth his salt could easily soak up 20k in bringing this back to perfection.
