mondello was FREE today...with free camping too.
and hardly anyone was there...

didnt see any of the flat cap brigade or jags there.
which was a positive thing i thought.

ive always got the impression that alot of other classic car owners dont think much of vw"s
a bit too common you know...

Michael, you're welcome to our registration card if you want to be sure of a space in the eircooled section? We've no need of it now.

Cheers Kevin, i'll text you when approaching Terenure (you still on same number? 087 ####271?)

Did anybody go to this?? Any pics??

Yes myself and Mick were there until 8:30. What a super show it was, weather was good and I'm burnt to pieces.

I've loads of pictures, over 1,400 cars came through the gates so when I said this show had something for everybody I really meant it.
The Eircooled stand did very well considering a lot couldn't make it - we had 1 Split, 1 Ghia, 8 Beetles & 5 Bay Windows, hopefully we will have a few new members.

Fair play to everyone who made it :D

Those who traveled to Terenure to support their club today had a great day - the new members decided they would join up after spending the day with Eircooled, comments back to me were that they got great advice from club members & a friendly welcome all round.

My day started off in Topaz, Citywest - a great spot for meeting up BTW as it's very easy to find, plenty of parking and the coffee is good. Cathal drove up from Limerick in his '65 & Brian came up from Castledermot in his 356B - fair play to the lads, the cars looked great in the mirror.

Parking getting better or worse - who know's?

The '65 got a minor detail in Terenure - Coxy must have aimed for every fly on the M7 today.

We only got there and guess what Liam (Raschal) had the awning out and the kettle on, my favorite car of the stand. Everyone floated over for a some shade and a biscuit - while we looked at the cars roll past.

Caption time?

No waste around here.
