We are offering for sale our flagship Volkswagen Beetle.
The car is an original Irish car bought new in 1973. It has just undergone
a full restoration to a very high and original standard.
The car is in brand new condition whilest at the same time retaining
the authentic pattena which makes this a truly valueable car.
The car is a 1200CC 1973 with only 74K miles, a city car with no evidence whatsoever of a hitch or the hard life which most of these cars endured.

I am willing to consider a suitable part exchange and indeed a modest discount
on the price to a good home. This car needs to be viewed and examined
083 1013331 Cheers guys and thanks for reading.Sorry unable to post picks however they can be viewed on classiccarcity.ie
The ad is somewhat 'tongue in cheek'....but it got your attention. I am asking €9000 for the car but honestly it looks every penny of it...I will take less and particularly to a VW specialist. This is a cracking original car not messed with at all........doesnt even have a radio or aerial fitted...Interested/ come and have a look for yourself.

Come on, the ad might be poor - but is this the way we treat people on their first post? :helpme:

Matt thanks for offering your car for sale on Eircooled, it could be a good buy for someone in the market when they see pictures and more information. Best of luck with your sale.

its not about treating people on their first post though is it, its about someone who has registered and their first post is a pathetic attempt at a "come and buy our beauty" bullshit. Typically written in the same old lack of effort bullshit manner that first time posters long time punters do. Put the effort in, particularly if you have solely registered to sell your wares especially restored to perfection patina (whatever that is) or stroll on, simple.

Just because someone logs on and writes a poor ad doesn’t mean we can't treat them with a bit of good will. I agree with you about putting an effort into trying to sell a car but not everyone is seller savvy these days.

If he came on with an Irish 23 window would he get the same treatment? ;)
