Was trying to upload photos onto photobucket but its not working for me at the moment. Basically, I wanted to have my car "right" for the weekend so yesterday I spent ALOT of money up in Martin Murray's. Picked up fuel lines, condenser, points, wing beading etc and treated myself to some new running boards amongst many other bits. So today after work I added/replaced all the parts in the engine and then removed the old running boards. I knew the left channel had hole in it which I was hoping to get patched in a few weeks but what I discovered really scared me!! Half of the heater channel fell away when the running board came off. Underseal had kept it all together! Gonna need a whole left heater channel and door pillar bottoms. Don't give a rats ass now that my engine wouldn't idle properly. :cry:The car's gonna be off the road for months. I knew there was plenty of work to be done so yesterday stuff was bought with money specially put aside for the car but I just got my work hours cut today also so I don't know when I'll have extra cash for it. I half expected something like this when I removed the running boards but I needed to know how good/bad it was.
Now I know.

(at least the right side stood up to an attack with the screwdriver)

Thanks mate. I'll probably come to the breakfast alright. Not sure if I'll go on the cruise yet though.

I can't go, 1302 is in the garage getting a new steering box and the fanbelt is bad on the '61.
