Might be an idea to send Britt (Roadcow) a PM. I'd be fairly sure he advertised a large haul of fasty bits a few weeks back.
there's a chap on VAGdrivers after finding a type3 variant in a field in Cavan. He's due to post pictures of it when he gets it out of the field. I told him to put pics here too.

ok so theres hope yet. i went over for vw action and questioned all the traders over type 3 parts, well im not sure if it was just that show but none of the traders had any stock
