There was a service attendant ya want to see the head on him
When he thought he had to fill loads of old vw's

Some people were awhile in the shop the traffic built up with people going into the petrol station and cause a jam on the road going back 150-200 yards :cooool:

Great video clips there Declan! It was great to meet a few of you guys even though we didn't get a chance to talk to most of you! I was such a shame the weather was so bad on Saturday - the party ended up being moved to our house! Derek, your tent and chairs are being held ransom until you come back!

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the run. It would be great if you could stick your name up with the year of your Beetle, trying to keep a log of all vehicles involved in this years run. Over 40 so not bad going. It was great to see all the bugs coming and going on the road!

then there was Brian in the green bug and Dara in the red one that met us passing Leopardstown and followed all the way to Arklow only to get rained out of it

not sure on years of their cars but I'd imagine early to mid '70s
