So Dubshed has been announced, and this year comes many changes.
Firstly, new location , The Eikon Exhibition Centre ( the old maze prison site Balmoral Park ) 15 mins from Belfast centre.
Whilst this is significant enough, the other big thing on the list is there will be single lane 1/8th mile drag sprint, coupled with this, we have been allocated a huge area for aircooled/vw folk over pitside (hardstanding gravel) to show our wares.
Im actually pretty excited about this one as effectively the organisers at dubshed have said, "what do you want , here you can have this " Which for the biggest static vw show in the country is pretty bloody impressive.
I will be taking aircooled sprint bookings, for show n shine you guys need to head to the main gtini site and pick up the dubshed link.
On top of all this, there will be exclusively to all at Aircooled entries and those persons who are members the Eircooled club, on site camping overnight. There may be a charge for this just to help cover the cost of the shower block though. It is exclusive and won't be advertised to the public."
This could be a belter for us aircoolers, a chance to really get together and have some fun
