Very Very good point Mick I was thinking about this earlier
First month in 2 yearish the meeting point moves straight after its first national promotion.

The otherside is do we meet for us. Or the public or awareness of the club ? ?

Fucked if I know.
I'll be in Mayo tomorrow

Hey folks,
Thanks for the post Brian...
"What happens if we get new bies at Stillorgan from the radio piece? bring them along to Darrens"
I'd not taken that into account...
There's no panic whatsoever. We could leave it for a weekend meet, say a sat or sun, or wednesday night meet sometime after september?!
Again, only if in suits...

Cheers

I think keeping it at Stillorgan this month is probably best...just incase even 1 newbie shows up!

As much as I'd like to see Darren's Lounge..ahem I mean garage, I think leaving that to another evening might be best. Thats offcourse unless Darren has already made arrangements with the local paper, then might be a good idea to try split the run?

Yea, stillorgan it is... I haven't contacted local paper yet. Will see you up there. Or I might join Flash in Legoland! Would love to buy the Lego Beetle...

Could the meeting point still be stillorgan and head for kilcock then? Or is that too far for people?
Otherwise, how about a second meet this month? Say same time on a weds 2 weeks later?

What looked like small meeting compared to last months grew quick before 8 o'clock.
Nice little turnout, three beetles, four bays and one split along with a Citreon 2CV.
We were joined by another guy called Patsy who heard us on the wireless and is restoring his 73 1500 GT beetle.

I've no pictures.Think SteveR caught a few.
