Went to see that car last week. Some welding required to one inner arch. Hole in side of spare wheel well. Rear valance needs to be replaced. Drip rails very solid. Was reccommended to have heater channels replaced. Needs new bonnet. Michael is the guy's name and he works for RTE. I met his son who showed me the car located at Cosy Campers in Rathcoole. He'd take €1,000 for it but the son said more like €800 would be the price. He only bought it in Carlow a month ago but seized the engine driving it home as it was parked up for a while. Engine is fecked! Car still on UK plates. I was after something more solid.
Rotten more like!!! My mate went to see it last week too, was told on the phone that there was no rust (as stated in the ad! ' Requires engine repairs. Good body with little rust. Pillars, sills and carriage perfect!') But when arrived didnt even want to get out of the car!!!! He wasnt impressed after driving all that way!!! He was shown the car by 2 guys but once he started lifting carpets one of them scarperd!!!!

Be careful with Micheal my dad got stung with a 1303 all sealed up nice but while doing the breaks found the front is rotten and my dad is now stuck with it and can only sell it for parts or resto. Even though he bought it to potter around in and maybe sell on after a bit of work. He promised earth moon and stars. He also changes his number regularly in the ads and always says there is no rust.
