Some of us a Wicklow based 'Dublin meet' deserters are having a gathering over Christmas.

A Coffee-Cruise-Lunch kinda thing. It's aimed at Oldschool VW's and all VW Vans but anything VAG is welcome.
Forecast is wet but we're going to have our bugs out.

Sunday 27th Dec.

Start: 11.00am. Ashford Apple Green Services carpark, just off the M11 near Ashford. 15mins from M50 South.
Finish: Mickey Finns Pub and Wicklow Brewery, Redcross, Co. Wicklow.

Lunch/Tea an coffee is available in Mickey Finn's from 12.30. You have a choice between the Bristro and the bar menu. If there's any interest I can ask if the brew master is available for a tour of Wicklow Brewery. (€8per person inc tasting tray). Mickey Finn's won Ireland's Tourist bar of the year 2015.

Great day out today. Thanks to everyone who made the effort, nearly 20 VW's took part which meant there were over 30 people at the pub afterwords. Roll on 2016 an we'll organise some more.

definitely not,its first trip out since picking it up in the summer, hasn't left wicklow since august.completely original car and have no idea when it last drove on the roads. didn't miss a beat so very happy.great day out and really chilled and great mix of people and cars

Did you pick it up in Kerry? Looks like one that was advertised around that time but it was gone almost immediately.

Yes that's the one.had been looking a long time when I got it.

Cheers lads, should have done it ages ago. We talked about it long enough an since Beary started coming to our meets and got a bug he's been enthusiastic about it so we said feck it an threw it together last minute.
