Hi Folks,

Firstly thanks for having me, first post here so excuse any noob statements I come out with Uh?

I've wanted a camper for as long as I can remember but it was something I never persued, but now that I have a family it seems like a good time to follow it up, also life has been a bit crap of late so something to take my mind off of it would be welcomed with open arms.

I've manged, miraculously, to convince the missus that this is a good idea. After showing here several pictures of show buses that is :lies:

I have 3 young kids so I need something that will take all of us. I set out a while ago looking all over for a t2 or t25 westy shell, with the intention of paying meek money and building on it from there as and when I could, I convinced myself that there would be loads of these laying around the country with a decent chassis and floor. That was my first mistake!!. After scouring the net for what feels like forever I'm still no further on.......? I can't find anything out there, there are possibilities in the UK but then you have to include transport fees, also you really have know way of know if the floor is rotton.

So my question is this, does anyone out there in the ether know of a half decent shell with engine and running gear that can be lifted for reasonable money (by reasonable money I mean next to nothing :2cents:). Interior, bellows and cosmetics are irrelevant I just want a box on wheels. I'm prepared to put the work in on this, even if I could afford to buy a finished product I don't know if I would want to. There may well be nothing out there at all that suits this description...........if so then I'll put it off again till next year and raise more dough, but thought I'd ask.

Anyway thought I'd put it out there and see what happens. Thanks for reading.

it`s well salvagable other than the long side panel (opposite sliding door) it`s good and the interior is mint , carpeted all over including the roof !

My freind has a camper he's thinking of selling it.
Nearly all are new panels needs to be sprayed all the

I'll be speaking to him over the weekend and

I think its a 1960-1970 camper not sure couldn't
