got a call from another lad around 21:45
he rang back at 22:30
called over at 23:30
left me a good deposit at 00:30
Deposit received
Car going to Clonmellon
Happy days.
Only fault he could find was the bonnet was sitting slightly to the right passengers side. (I hadn't even noticed that)
needless to say that didn't give him any leverage on the price

New owner bought another very very rotten beetle on Friday for the towbar
His plan is to build a trailer to tow his honda 50
I think the beetle has gone to a nice home any will get plenty of polish and shiney bits

Met the owner a few days ago.
He got a few little mechanical jobs done and its going for the spraybooth this week
getting the interior redone also. Its gonna be a cracker
moving from a great daily to a show winner (maybe)
