How is it the same as boards?

It was discussed at the agm and what was decided is here.

http://www.eircooled.com/deforum/showthread.php?9271-Agm-2012.&p=131546&viewfull=1#post131546

People are just asked to contribute if they want to trade regularly on the site.
I don't see anything wrong with that.

2 of which are for sale ads,
one in the last week and the other over 18 months ago?
All the rest are wanted ads for parts etc,
Since the rules were brought in he has 2 ads, one for sale and one wanted last june.

You on the other hand have 3 for sale threads started in the last month or that.

So basically it is ok for non-members to profit from the Trading Post without contributing to the site? By way of profit, I mean find the parts they are looking for by means of posting 'Wanted' adverts? In the same way of selling that non-member is benefiting from the Trading Post!

You may also want to think about rewording the Rules Section to make it more clearer, ie how many posts

At our recent AGM the issue of non-paid club member’s abusing trading area came up. It was decided that non paid club members would not be allowed to regularly trade using the site.
Ads will be removed at the discretion of site administration and only returned if the person pays the club subscription of 25 euro a year.

Information on Club membership can be found here.

Anyway, please reinstate my deleted advert as soon as possible. Tks! ;)

Yes, doesn't comply with the new Trading Post rules. I'm considered a regular Trader because I haven't renewed my membership this year yet!

Seems a bit unfair there are loads of people who are not and where never members advertising on here. Delete one delete all.

Well...they've just deleted another Advert I've posted for a Front Beam.

Lads...please reinstate both adverts and do your homework! Oh, I'll be also waiting on an apology. ;)

I thought there was mention of the number of posts a non-member can make in the Trading Post, did someone suggest 10 or so?

But...if you're making a rule can it be automated so that the same rules apply to everyone? i.e. no posts in Trading section or limited number?

Anyways, I don't give a crap really...:D

While I do agree that wanted ads should be treated the same as for sale ones, the example you showed only has 2 threads in the trading section this year where as I've pointed out already you've 3 in just a month

You may also want to think about rewording the Rules Section to make it more clearer, ie how many posts

Why, Its quite clear here

It was decided that non paid club members would not be allowed to regularly trade using the site.

http://www.eircooled.com/deforum/showthread.php?9728-To-all-non-paid-club-members.

Its a sticky at the beginning of the trading section.
Would you consider that 3 in a month is regularly trading? or 2 in a year?

Agreed....... or a bit of discretion anyways.........

John (knk) is a long time active member of the forum known by many and always willing to help out others, even though he's turned temporarily pikey I reckon he should be cut a little slack, you know he'll come good again or at least sort you out with a 'bi' o' carpeh boss'..............

John, rather than having a public pissing contest and cluttering up this thread with off topic chat, why don't you take your issues up with the Eircooled Mod by PM.

Well you're probably right Brian...but I'm doing it this way.

Once again I'll ask the MODS to reinstate my adverts. You are very quick to delete them which is a good sign that you are doing your job somewhat right. Now just follow through and do the rest of your job please.

Fair enough but knowing you and with the experience you have running and moderating forums I'd have expected better.
