would be an ideal donor for a Germanlook project: all the brakes, wheels, spare wheel, drive shafts, some of the suspension, seats, door handles, gauges etc etc etc could be used on a 1303, you'd flog on the engine and box and make a chunk of your money back, part out the remains, weigh in the shell. You'd be quids in by the end of it and have a sweet go-faster beetle out of it...
