It's a good project for someone to take on. As far as I can remember the fibreglass is all in good condition.

I was lookin at it as a project starter............strip down to nothing ........the car i mean.........get lost in it for years and then end up with something similar, only kidding, i was lookin at it as a project
If at all possible financially I'd be looking at Justin's Cal Look beetle or Ann73's 1303s which is a beauty. Something about that orange one I don't like.
