Finally starting to clear up over the past hour.... Over 1000 classic cars here, all looking good covered in rain drops.

jeez, I haven't been to Terenure in about 8-9 years but that doesn't look how I remember it. That looks more like a marshy GAA pitch in the back end of Co. Offaly than the manicured cricket ground I remember...

Just back in here now. Was a good show despite the showers. Some nice cars there! Smacked my exhaust off one of the lovely big speed ramps on the way out and fecked it up, which was also nice. I'll stick up a couple of pics soon.

Just home myself. Grass wasn't cut during the week because of the bad weather hence why it was so long.

Overall even though the weather wasn't great I actually think it was a good day. It wasn't a constant rain all day, just some showers on and off. If you came with the right pair of shoes then you'd be set for the day. Number of cars was still high, and punters through the gates was still strong.

If this was any other show around the country then it would be empty due to the light rain. Just shows how good the Terenure Show really is that people still want to come down. I saw Mikey leaving about 10.30am...light weight! :p

Even Tsar made it through the long grass. ;)

There was no chance of cutting the grass yesterday as a lot of the stands had set up since early that day. Access was open from 11am to 5pm on the Saturday. I think the longer grass today might of actually saved the ground from being a lot worse. It was only a bit mucky on the driving routes. Walking around it was fine. ;)

I was really in between going or not to this today but looking at the picture above of the oval driving on muck, hearing stories of grass not cut, rain most of the day and Ross say he smacked the exhaust off a ramp on the way in I'm glad I didn't now.

Your right Pete, yesterday was a perfect day to chop some grass - nice and dry. :(

Your right Beag, didn't look too optimistic when they put rubber mats down on the entrance patch of grass just after nine.

I arrived very very early thinking the weather would clear. Had a nice stroll around and was impressed with the motors on display. I spotted Charles beetle recently featured by Irish Vintage Scene at their stand and was speaking to him, the car is a real credit to him. Eircooled got a good size stand. :D

Lads would the shorter grass not have made the conditions underfoot worse ? I would have thought longer grass would have benefited the day that it was. That red split looks stunning in the pics, very nice indeed.

Despite the weather another great Terenure show (the 21st one) The new layout was a bit shitty our plot was a bit squashed and a few other cars where just abanded on it as well.
