im putting my rhd 58 panel up for sale,as i need to invest in more tooling/parts for the engine building side of the bussiness.
the van, german built was originally sold new in Bangor Co.Down in 1958, i have completed most of the metalworking , just need a bit of work around the gutter and tailgate, the van has 944 porsche brakes and rear suspension, a hydraulic front beam narrowed 4", steering rack conversion,adapters have been made to refit the original wide 5s onto the porsche hubs. the rear has been irs'd using the porsche components and a 2 litre bay transmission fitted, i have a late tdi engine that has been fitted but out at the moment , but the van will still run an aircooled ok. i have spent 100's of hours on this van . pictures of some of the work can be found at http://bugbitz.com
