But when you say Britt, it kind of follows.

Just this morning I completed the Base Coat Clear Coat paint on this for Dave. I wanted the paint to be a bit nicer for him, as you may recall this was a rush job at a whim. I did some body work and then put 2 nicer doors on then painted the car. I also found Dave a very cool W lid which had some louvers punched in and Dave said yes to that also. So with Chrome wheels and the nose dropped a bit this will look awesome.

Had to spin this and try to take the picture when it was flat to me.

Sorry for the dark pictures but I'm kind of sick right now and have not got the energy to move it out in the sun.

Wow:D, I'm absolutely chuffed, Its great to some good news for a change, well done Britt it looks brilliant. The bad news.... last week I thought I'd pull up the carpet in the 1303 Karmann cabrio and give it a good clean before I put it up for sale.. It's amazing how rust spreads very quietly. 2 rear floors, 2 rear arches and luggage compartment against the arches completely shot. The PO had put sound deadening stuff all over the metal but it just kept the moisture trapped:mad:. My own fault I guess, should have checked ages ago. Ordered replacement panels straight away from Jon in VW Spares so should be starting on the mini resto in next couple of weeks and will have a very nice cabrio for sale.

Thanks again for the pics Britt, made my day:D
