Brownlows, of course... thanks.

We've decided to make our own, anyone know of good deals on welders out there? :ROFLMAO:

I sold my Clarke 151, but something similar will do the job, even gasless. :D

Are the gasless ones any good? Also is it easy to get the flux coated wire that is needed?

Sorry for the hijack Justin.

They're not bad, the gasless welds are messier and need a good bit of tidying so maybe not so good for bodywork, but fine for other jobs.

Flux core can be bought in Halfords and Aldi, you just need to then flip the polarity on the welder, the Clarke above will do both, it comes with a line for disposable gas bottles but they only last minutes, waste of time.

...but I have only done hours of welding, not enough to feel strongly about one method over the other. :D
