Anyone got? My engine's bottom end is grand but the head is properly fucked. Cracks all over it and 4 bent valves. So seeing as I've a known good bottom end, I'd like to go down the route of sticking a good head on it and getting it working. The old head is off now anyway so it's less hassle to stick a head on than replace the whole engine too.

I have a JX TD engine; at present its complete bar the alternator; as usual I'll be relieving it of sump, oil pump, engine mounts, turbo, manifold, turbo aux. pump n return pipe, exhaust n clutch n flywheel etc etc. - basically all thats needed off it to fit a later mk3 golf TD/tdi in my bay....eventually...
The engine n its 5speed box was removed from a running and driving 1990 T25 1.6td panel van.
Gearbox is already sold and on being fitted to the t25 it was sourced for, was found to be working well...

€150 takes the bare block, head (complete with injectors) and Pump and lines (would be handy as spares) - I wont split!
