Yeah it is average, it's not a show-winner it just was put together and raffled at Volksworld.

You're right about it not being a show winner but it was never meant to be. The idea behind it was that Volksworld would buy a stock Beetle with a full MOT which in itself would make a great daily driver but then over the course of the show weekend it would be transformed into something special by suppliers such as Newton Commercial and VW Heritage etc. It was more of an exercise to show people that a standard Bug can be transformed quite easily over a weekend without breaking the bank. Ideally, the new owner would want to look at getting it resprayed over time but the feedback from people was great as they saw by adding a few choice extras the Beetle's look completely changed.
