Setting up the club gazebo in the wind. It ook a fair battering today and I think it's time for a replacement.

A few people scattered when Beag jokingly mentioned he was looking for membership cards for Gazebo entry ;)

Trev drove and was rewarded with a prime position near the entrance v v v

Huge thanks to Wayne and all the organisers. It was a very well run day in a great location. The weather even perked up and I'm well burnt tonight!

Guess who's not a VAGE virgin anymore? (y)

First time at this show and really enjoyed it as it's got a great set up and well organised event from start to finish. Good fun convoying & the new road to Cork is brillant, made great timing home.

Really didn't expect to get a prize today, and was chuffed to get 1st in post '67.

Well done to everyone in Eircooled - the club is still at its best.

Sorry to have missed this now ... always a great show.

We did manage to get up to Tullow for a few hours where it was a similar story of showers on the hour!

Big shout out to everyone who attended yesterday the few showers didn't deter or dampen anyone's spirits - Larry and Emma from cleancar told me they sold out all drying towels in minutes when the rain passed over! LOL

Once again, our traders and sponsors did us proud, with their support and attendance - Cleancar.ie, Eireplates.com, Volkswagen Ireland, George Dalton's Garage, Yewcraft, Stickers and Stuff, South East Tools and Wayne MacCarthy.

Congratulations to all the prizewinners in every category - you thoroughly deserved it with all your hard work and preparation - the standard of vehicles just gets higher and higher.

A resounding thank you to all the clubs and online communities who came and supported yesterday's 10th anniversary event; GTI-NI, MLVW, Eircooled, Audi-Islands, V@gdrivers and Autostadt.

We received a massive amount of positive feedback at the end of the day from everyone on the new venue - we're delighted to hear it as it was a worry if we could transmute the good vibes of Mill Island to a more modern open-plan venue - at the end of the day it is all of you who attend the show who make it a success, so from myself and all the committee, a resounding and heartfelt thanks.

Speaking of the committee and people who worked damn hard over the past few months and throughout this past weekend; Donie, Danny, Drew, Jon, Aoife, Cian, Adrian, Michael, Wayne, Ronan, Tony and Don - take a bow, lads. Ye pulled it out of the bag yet again to produce a great show for Ireland's VAG community!

A special mention also to Dylan Carroll, our youngest team member, who at 12yrs old yesterday got stuck in and did a day's work that any grown man would be proud of!

Thanks again, from all of us, to all of you - see you next year!

Paul C.

was a great show in fairness, enjoyed meeting a few eircooled heads and poking around cars. Don't think I'm into the flip painted, split rimmed ICE'd out models but was interesting to mooch around and see what people are at. Got a good laugh at the rush to re-polish the cars after every shower! Few nice mk1 golfs, jettas and other nice stuff about. Will try and be more engaging at the next meet, hangover dependent.... look forward to seeing more snaps

Sorry Kieran ................. I Promise Too Have (Aircooled) Car @ VAGE Show Next Year ....................................

Don't worry about it. If I had the cars you have, I wouldn't have them out in the pissing rain with people hanging off them either. It's just that I was really looking forward to seeing the Ruby Red or Fendered 57. In the foyer would be a good spot for next year!

As I said already, a great show in an excellent venue.
Well done to all involved.

The Plan is Next Year To Have Few Car's Indoors ! But You Won't See Fendered Again With Me (It's Going To Be Sold in The UK) The Plan Was Also To Have Ruby Home (It's Keeper) For The Show ......... But It's Booked Into Photostudio To Be Shot For It's VolksWorld Feature in Few Weeks & It Would Have Been Madness & (€€€€) To Bring It Home for The Show & Then Back Over Again !

Thats a very nice bus you have Brian.Lovely colour.Couldnt have a look inside though cos you were too posh to shelter under the gazebo and stayed in there instead :p
