The Engine Block Dublin - October Meet

Hello all,
As some of you may know I work for Deane motors Dublin, which some of you may know have a new premises in Dublin with 6 other businesses in a building known as the Engine Block.

Simon from Deane motors was asking me if I would like to host a meet/show almost there. A rough date is in place, the first Sunday of October and I’d like to see how many of you guys would be interested in coming along for a couple hours to grab a coffee and have a look around. I’ll stick it up on the Facebook page also. I was talking about it at the previous Dublin meeting and some of the lads were interested. If you’re interested or have any questions please let me know. I’d love to bring the club together in Dublin and make it more then just any other morning meet. Thanks and I appreciate you reading.

What time on Sunday morning will it be?

Unfortunately I have to postpone tomorrows meet in the Engine Block due to unseen circumstances. I hope to organise it once again for a few weeks time. I’m sorry to anyone who had planned on coming along, unfortunately it is out of my control now but will get a new date and keep everyone posted.

Not to worry Noah. These things happen all the time in the classic car world. There’ll be loads more so don’t sweat it.

No problem Noah, sometimes events conspire against us. There are plenty of days in the calendar.

If anyone is looking for an alternative event the Gerald Murphy Memorial Run and Show is on in Enniscorthy tomorrow. There was something like 500 odd cars there last year.

Would many people be interested if I got next Sunday in the Engine Block. I’m unsure of the weather and it might be too short notice but let me know what you think and I’ll go ahead with it

I headed up with the kids this morning (in the daily) in glorious sunshine. Fair play to Noah for organising this. He mentioned himself that it was such a pity it clashed with Campfest however there was some amazing metal on display. It's a great location and I feel we'll be hearing alot more from "The Engine Block" over the coming years.
