Well, that's my lot - stick this show into you're calendar for next year. I went with a cheap Ryanair flight but Coxy has drove over before via Dublin/Holyhead and then the three hour drive to the show - I'll certainly be back next year.
One of the nicest on display.

We brought the camper and went with Irish Ferries, Dublin Holyhead arrived in Wales early on Saturday morning. pulled over, 8 hours sleep and 3 -4 hour drive the Stanford on Saturday morning/afternoon. The facilities on the campsite were grand and apart from the mk2 golf crew, everything passed off peacefully. The atmosphere around the grounds on saturday evening/night was great (drink food etc) the Hayburner airstream was rocking and there was local brass band blasting out the tunes...was nice. Temperatures dropped to -1 on saturday night according to the pop top brigade. We stayed on sunday night also, but if we were doing it again i would have headed off to somewhere else as the displays/traders had cleared the grounds by 4.30pm on the sunday.
Overall, the show was very good, loads of beetles, bays, splits, golfs etc. The parts selection was good. However, I do think there should be a line drawn on the quantity of stalls selling cushions, curtains and the like. I was hoping to see some military vehicles, but no kubels or schwimmers were present. Previous years did have more T1 splits & ovals.
All going well, we will hopefully be there again in 2017.
