Ok time to get some parts together for the 77 Bay for when my back is up to it. This is my first US spec bus so please forgive my type 4 terminology.

  • First up I need a piece of tin for a type 4 engine, its the rear left hand corner piece (indicated on photo, not of actual engine BTW). Its the tin just under the coil. Cannot find type 4 tin for love or money :-(
  • I also need a pipe for the heater, again its indicated on the photo below. Its the pipe that goes from a round profile on blower to an oval profile on the tin.- Sourced

  • Set of wheels hopefully with some legal rubber on them, I will use these while I refurb the stock wheels. I may be interested in a set of alloys like Merc/BRM's etc as I am not fully sure what I want the final look to be yet. On hold until payday now :-(
  • Dual Carbs - I am in no rush for these but I do love dual carb set-ups so if anyone has a set with manifolds and linkage I would be interested. Sourced
NEW ITEMS ADDED
Also looking for a wheel cover for a front mounted spare and a cover for a bus, the JK one will be ideal

Last point, does anyone know where I can source bed foam?

What carb is it running now.......? I've just taken a set of Solex 32-34 PDSIT's off a 2ltr, includes manifolds, balance/breather pipes and linkage, just serviced and working perfectly, however........... I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing with them yet but you can have 1st refusal if that's any good to ya.......?

At the moment its not running but I think I have a Solex C34TC1C to go on for now (I have not had a chance to look things over properly). They sound like they may be useful in the look I want for the engine bay. I will drop you a pm.

Two more items on my list:

  • Spare wheel cover for front mounted spares
  • Bus cover, something like the JK one would ideal as I cannot finish my garage at the moment. If none around I will order from John.
