I remember seeing a thread on the this site, although its some while back, that a member of this site is involved with a shipping company. For the life of me, I can't remember who it is. I need help to locate him.
I'm looking to ship a vw from the midlands (england) to Ireland. My second inquery is shipping a toyota fj (jeep) from Bangkok (Thailand) to Ireland. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful. Thanks a million. John.

That's not bad at all considering they can't drive it on the trailer/loader. I paid about the same to collect the 356 from the docks near London but was quoted a nice bit more a year or two ago for a rolling chassis.

I have a relation over there, and is driving around in one. He plans coming home shortly and said, if I wanted I could have it and just pay the shipping costs. That's how things stand at the moment. Worth considering if the costs are good. John.

Val McKenna is the guy kvinyl is referring to, he brought my bus from London to Dublin for €400, if your vw is driving why not get him to bring it back, he is over and back every week, i'll pm you with his number if you like.

Just to clarify that ... he doesn't drive it back, he brings it back with a car transporter lorry, it literally only need to be able to drive up on the truck.

I know George will disagree as he wasn't so lucky, but I had an easy transaction with www.nvd.ie.

I emailed the details, paid by laser over the phone and my car was delivered to Ringaskiddy (at my request) a week later,

All for €299 + VAT.

EDIT: Sorry, just spotted it's not driving. Forget that ^^.
