I was there in '07, its a great show, would highly recommend it!
I flew Dublin to Birmingham for similar money and drove down in a hire car.
Would love to go back this year & bring the bus if i can.
driving around the UK doesn't appeal.
would need a week instead of a weekend.
between ferrys and petrol, would cost about 10 times the price of the flight.
i have a recession busting fortnight planned around ireland in the summer in the bus. i want to go to places i've never seen here, of which there are quite a few. i've been to a lot of foreign places but never been to lakes of killarney.

ya vanfest is great, went the past two years and had a laugh, even with the mud fields its well worth going to. no van, so have just had tents and its fine...... that said i just got a book on how to build a tear drop, so should have that this year all going well.

nice one tom! wats the best route? is it dublin-hollyhead or rosslare-pembrooke? goin to give ray a hand next week to stick a brand new 1641 in the back of his bus.... so it shoud be runnin sweet as a nut.
