This car....................??

Dear Mr. 56 and Mr. Caddy,

Thank you very much for fixing the engine in my car. It drives very well now and starts first time every time. I am very happy because I can use it all the time.

All my friends say it sounds so much better now and does not smell of that yucky smelly stinky petrol anymore.
Last night i took it to the shop and it was nice to drive and did not make any funny noises. All the people in the shop said it looks very pretty and shiny. Me and my friends cleaned it on Saturday. We took it to a show on Sunday.

I like my car a lot. I promise I have not had any races in it and I certainly did not add another Civic (sorry Duts) to my list of conquests last night on a roundabout to roundabout race. If I did then I am sure I would certainly have liked to hear the roar from my super shiny engine flat out in third gear and I am sure I would have giggled as the Civic would fade into my rear view mirror. If I did that I am sure my engine would have been ticking and pinging for ages after I got home which of course it did not because I did not do that.

Thank you

Signed

Me

Please note:
Had there been any corners on that road my poor nose down, arse in the air stanced Beetle would have shit itself and the 17yr old Civic driver would have laughed as he passed the old man sitting in his old car in the ditch. Irionically, on my way to work this morning I tutted and shook my head at a young guy this morning who was driving too fast and I could hear myself calling him a twat :D

Now to start saving for Bugbitz to build a bigger engine!!!!!!

Sorry I couldn't make it lads. I know I said I would and I was one of the ones who protested about the early start but there was a death in the family, hence why I didn't show up.

Todays run.

Todays run.

My few from today, it was quite nice few scattered showers.

We had the 1500, rashers split & KNKs T25. Rocky joined us in the passant at Laragh.

For those of you that couldn't make it, I'll be holding another run of the exact same. One of the Saturdays in September.

Nice spin today...weather fairly good with a few showers on route but overall a good run with some nice food.

Only bad point of the day was on the motorway on the way home when a Pheasant decided to walk out in front of me with baby's following in line behind. Managed to miss the mother but unfortunately took out one of the young ones. :(

A few photo's from today, mainly just Mikey's 1500 and Glenn's Splitty! :)

I'd have loved to go but my old van isn't the most reliable at the minute and was afraid I might ruin it for the rest of you chaps,it looked like a good day was had by all judging by the great pics.
Maybe next time..
Regards.
Mick.
