When you buy a samba you are paying out a lot extra over a regular kombi so the provenance is more important. During my search for one I found a number of buses that didn't even start life as a samba, contrary to their appearance and their paperwork! The fact that this bus is not what the seller is saying it is is a no-no. You or I might know the difference but someone else may not. hhwell:

The dodginess of the bus seems to be questioned on alot of forums at the moment. Maybe its like the vespas that get repaired in vietnam with coke cans, and get sent over here as spotless restos
