Unfinished project. RHD ’69 Early Bay Tin Top, Devon conversion. 1600SP.
Was last driven on road in 2001, had a new gearbox fitted in 1999. Have loads of MOT slips and work receipts from its uk life. Now on 69 D Reg.
I would love to just put it back together, lower it and drive as a rat, but I’ve had it for 7 years and I cant ever see me having the time to finish it. Meanwhile my bug is sitting out in the rain.
Interior layout has two ring gas cooker with fold out hood and stand for outdoors cooking. Easycool cooler cools by dripping water. Table with screw on leg. Bed is a ¾ width pull out drawer type thing.
If interested, PM me for my number and I’ll answer any questions on it. Riggsi (on here) did the work up the front end for me. Located in Laytown Co. Meath if someone wants to look at it. Stands me at about 4k on bits at the moment. I’d obviously like to recover as much of my money as possible. So any offers near to that would be nice.

Good Points
Rust free Californian front grafted on. (have sections to close off the join a the pillar).
Cab floors, front wheel arches, front cross member, front outriggers & jacking points done.
Sills, Rear bottom corners done.
5 x new commercial rated tires (Never seen road)
New brake cylinders and pads all round (never seen road)
Spare wheel cover in back.
Interior all there, some panels of ply wood need to be replaced on the buddy seats.
Headliner in great nick, some mould spots.
Nice OEM bumpers in great condition, with brackets , steps and the splash guard on back bumper.

Needs doing
Cab door bottoms
Rear crossmember,
Rear outriggers & jacking points. (have them)
Finish off repairs (clean up and fill)
Rear roof corners / LH seam. (have a rear roof cutting for sections)

Engine was ticking over nicely before work started though bit of oil dripping now.
Holes for Pedals on RHS to be cut out.
Paint it Or Graffiti it.

Love this bus, wouldn't take much to get it on the road as a solid rat look bus.
Good luck with the sale.
