Retro day, 7th April - Murroe, Co. Limerick

Marty of highnelly.ie asked me to post this up. His (and mine) local pub is hosting a 50's, 60's & 70's day on 7th April. I'll be spinning a few tunes on the day. I'll post some more details when I have them. It would be great if we had a group from Eircooled attending so dig out some 50's, 60's or 70's clothes and charge up your flux capacitor!

Bump for this Sunday.

I'll be spinning a few tunes from around lunch time. There's a ladies vintage tractor run heading off from the pub around that time so I'll be doing my best with the entertainment. 50's 60's and 70's tunes only!! There will be plenty of games and stuff going on so it should be fun.
I honestly don't know what to expect myself but judging on some of the planning I've heard about it should be a bit of a laugh. Don't forget to come in costume!! (optional)

No pics really. Was ding most of the day
T'was a good day despite being bitterly cold. LOTS of tractors so I was way out of my depth.
Many people dressed up for the occasion which was great. More importantly, hundreds were raised for Limerick Marine Search and rescue!
