After 17yrs of ownership which included over a year of restoration, I have decided to let someone else have some fun with Landfill.

Full thread here - http://www.eircooled.com/deforum/showthread.php?2239-1965-Beetle&highlight=landfill

Also, Volksworld blog - http://www.volksworld.com/author/cathal-otoole/

I've done well over 6k miles since the restoration has been finished and enjoyed every minute of it. I am back from Stanford Hall where it placed 5th in class which I was thrilled with seeing as Stannie Hall is the best of the best. It also drove there and back without any issues.

As for the price, it's not going to be cheap but then, nothing that has been finished to this standard is going to be. I have replaced almost everything and the bills are passing €13k at the moment. It grabs attention everywhere it goes and you cannot stop for petrol without people coming over to look at it and wanting to know more.

I'm asking €10k for this fully restored, Irish built Beetle. I have a massive folder of memorabilia from the shows it's been to, in Ireland and England as well as CDs with hundreds of photos that follow the restoration from start to finish. I also have copies of the magazine features as well as high res PDFs of the same.

If you want an attention grabbing Beetle that has been restored with the best of everything then this is it.

PM me for more info or call me on 0862771897

Thanks

Cathal

I just read the complete restoration thread. That was serious, Toms work is superb. That car is starting to look really cheap. Somebody snap that up quick.

I think it may be sold. I'm sure I'll regret it but you can't keep them all.........if I could I would keep them all ;-)
