I got this (fairly well picked-over) 944 as a rear suspension/brakes donor. There are some parts still on it that might be useful to a 924/944 owner. For example, the mirrors, rear spoiler, rear bumper, funky yellow lettering gauges, Porsche script rear seat base only, door glass, electric window motors/mechs, sunroof, column switchgear, carpets, seatbelts, dash switches and lights, glovebox etc etc etc. If there's anything you need let me know and I'll check if it's still present.

cheapy cheap parts too BTW, just want to recoup a small few quid of the purchase price :)

everyone loves pictures, even ones of dead Porsches...

going by the couple of 944 tachos I've had in the past, they've all been electrical.

steels are 5.5 x 15 but they're my own so aren't for sale.

wiper/indicator switches, no bother. €20 the pair delivered to BB next week?

Trev, presume the oil pressure & battery gauge would be grand for the bus - if so I'd be intrested in them.

Yeah, with the right sender for the oil pressure you'll be grand. Ammeter just wired straight to the battery/alternator. €15 the pair?

spoiler is fine, it was attached to a perfectly good rear hatch until the wind got under it on the way home, flipped it over onto the roof and made scutter of it. If you want the whole frame to get the spoiler off yourself you can have it for a tenner.

as for the blower motor/fan, it's there. If it's a dash-out proposition to get to it, you can have it FOC if you come get it yourself. If it comes out easily and I can do it without removing the dash then it's a tenner too. I have no interest in removing the dash to get to it. Any ideas?

and the upside-down tacho too. Driving home from the pub in the 80s full of G&T and a couple of lines of blow must have been hellish...

at least you had the MPG meter nestled into the tacho pod, you know, for the irony...

AFAIK with the later 924s and all 944 Porsche had copped the fuck on and made them accessible from under the bonnet. The early turbine ones (not the hamster wheel you have) requires turning the entire car inside out like a goddamn rubber glove to get at it.

Could be wrong though. ...and I don't care.

I don't mind having go at removing it myself if you don't fancy it Trev? It doesn't appear to be too awkward to get to in the 924 factory manual (caution: big pdf files). Would it be that different for the 944? It is item 12 in the second image below.

I could also grab that steering box for the '67 while I'm there, if you still have one?
