trev, what about the lecky window mechanisms and switches? I want to see can I do lecky windows on the plastic porsche and they would give me something to mess around with, whether they will work with my plastic doors or not.
and for the craic (may as well get as much porchse as possible into the plastic porsche) door stricker plates and door locks (should be easy to get at if you rip out the window regulators) ?.

motors and mechanisms for the electric windows are still fitted, I could pull them out tomorrow. The door latches and strikers on the other hand... The shell is now up on the trailer and with no suspension on it, it's "laying frame" as in, it's flat on the trailer. As such, I can't open the doors to get to the locks/striker plates.

I'll get the window mechs tomorrow. complete with as much of the wiring loom as I can pull out before cutting. No switches though, they're missing from the car Thinking about it, it might be beneficial for you to have the inner skin off the doors too, to take the guesswork out of locating all the bolt-holes etc?

I've cut out the inner door skins with window motors/mechs still in place. I was able to get the doors open enough to extract the lock/latch and strikers from the B-pillars. You can have them FOC with the window mechs
