It's sitting way too high, looks as if it has no engine in it

Was thinking the same thing. Too high in back and front.

Looks like 4 lug Sprint Stars are popular up there. Counted 3 bugs with them.

Wrong, Wrong, wrong, You'd need a stepladder to get into it.
What has he done to the back wheels, is there a jack under it that we can't see?

Reversed in and left the handbrake on. I'd say the tracking/toe-in is out a little since it was raised.

Still warrants a slap though... :p

It's amazing what stance does for a car, that looks plain an dull now, the Fuchs are wasted on it whereas once upon a time it was a jaw dropper!

It was like that Fermoy, I think Kvinyl was talking to him about the fact that he'd had the wheels machined to fit the hubs as he was upset that the spare wouldnt fit! We were hoping he'd explained it wrong (if I remember'd it right!)

Yeah, I think Padraig needed a stiff drink after the new owner told him what he had done :D

If he put stock rims on it then it would look great but to remove the old narrowed beam and raise the suspension looks wrong wit the rims.

Why would you bother with all the effort of going to that, to get that result.

yeah, it hit me for six alright :D...but, each to their own I suppose. The new owner raised it because he said it was too uncomfortable to drive the way it was...fair enough, just don't know why he'd start with a beetle that had that much time, money and effort put into its stance only to to f66k all the bits in the bin.....ahhhhhhh......
