P0x gave me a set of 3 neon tubes when i collected the tinware off him cause he was going to throw them out otherwise cause he had no control box for them. I don't either, and haven't really looked for one. I don't really have a use for the tubes. I dont even remember what colour p0x said they were. I think blue but I'm not sure. Anyway there's 2 that are about a metre long and one about a half metre long. Theyre straight and covered in a perspex tube. If anyone wants them, they're welcome to collect them. Otherwise, does anyone have a control box looking for a home?

I think a neon tube needs some mad amount of voltage and said control box is actually a step up transformer, so with the right transformer, they would be 12v, yes, and there's no holders for them. Wouldnt be hard to make some though!

Sorry Damian I must have gotten myself all confused. Do you have the transformer/control box yoke?

No need for holders, it was held on with electricians plastic p-clips. About 50c each in B&Q.

Ahh maybe id did now. was it with the smaller tube that was in the engine compartment? That was years ago tho.
Sure you've moved house & changed cars & job loads of times since then. AND grown a beard....
(hmmm.....its almost like you're on witless protection or something)
