Was thinking of doing this for a long weekend trip. Just wondering should I stay in Berlin or stay somewhere else?? An tips before I book it.

I'd recommend it highly as I think would everyone who went.

Tips

Stay in Berlin - get train to Wolfsburg - 1 days is enough there for any sane person.

Make sure you go to the right museum - there are a few - there is a very impressive car museum in the VW factory (Autostadt), but the one that you want as a Beetle/T2 nut is the one that is not in the factory!! Mix and match yer flights with Ryanair and Aer Lingus - same airport for a change

berlin is a fantastic city
it is truely amazing
ahh that car museum would have to be super amazing to be a highlight of a trip to berlin

think might fly into frankfurt, rent a car for the few days stay 1 night in frankfurt and then go to wolfsburg for the day and then over to Berlin for 2 nights
