You could go for the same date as the Galway breakfast roll (4th April)- there's unlikely to be a conflict for people as the locations are far enough apart. It's Easter sunday so that might impact a bit. 1st May might be a runner but its a bank holiday weekend and there's another run in the east on the 9th

Just saw this now.

We picked up the Fasty earlier in the week, and my bug is edging closer to getting back on the road, so I'd be well up for a meet.
What sort of numbers are there willing to go to a meet in the NE?
And, might sound like a stupid question but, what will we do:confused:.

Ardee would be great for me, but I'll go wherever. Along the seafront in Blackrock is lovely with lots of parking but might be a bit far for people.

I wouldnt mind where we meet particularly. I can get down the road fairly quickly on the M3.
I guess once we get an idea of the interested people we can choose a suitable central location..

I'm talking about Blackrock, Co. Louth, just south of Dundalk - Keeping it all North Eastern like :) Still might be a bit far for some folks though. Maybe somewhere more central for the first meet, then we can go further afield for future get togethers.

What about Drogheda and drive down to bettystown for a few wheelspins on the beach?
