That's one of Finbars cars. He worked at Turners Cross in Cork. Not sure whether he's still there now VW dealership is gone there...

8.5K I'd say it is but you'll get stuff right from UK now with exchange rate but add in cost of going to get a UK car!! Compare it to what some Classic car sales guys in Ireland charge for 70's bugs i'd say its worth more to the right guy!!!
