Went to this last week - but just getting pics off the phone now. Some very cool machinery on show. And great to see cars from my younger day that I just don't see on the road anymore (like the Vauxhall Viva I learned to drive in - then subsequently blew the head gasket on. Or the Triumph Dolomite 1500 TC - a car way ahead of its time. The head gasket also went on this one too..... am I seeing a pattern here!!??). Any way, here's some of the aircooled stuff:

Great pics, I couldn't post mine. Certainly was a fantastic show, and every car owner willing to tell you their car story.
That DC Classics ghia was a piece of work. It had an inch and a half roof chop which I didn't notice, but the way he had to cut the roof into quarters and weld up the posts first, then cut and weld the roof in the centre, serious work and skill. £100,000 didn't buy it on the Saturday

Yes, that Ghia was something else. I was surprised at how many cars were not just on sale, but actually had Sold stickers on them (there was a row of 6 TR6's for sale, starting at around €19,000 and up to £27 grand (in Sterling!) and 5 had Sold written on them...... the boom is back boys, the boom is back! T'was the same with the more' exotic' stuff as well

some really lovely machinery on display.

If memory serves me correctly, the dash had just a single speedo in the middle and nothing else. I search for a pic.

There's always 'show tax' applied to the sales price of these cars in major shows. So long as buyer and seller are happy I suppose.................but I'd imagine the seller is the happiest ;)
