Standard pedestrian entrance to shows seems to be a tenner a head

In fairness there is always a displayed gift that kinda worth something more than a plaque or plate
Over the last few years. A nice little drapery sockets set. First aid kit. I think there was a great golfing brolly last year was a nice stainless steal flask

It can be a pain in the ass getting out but plenty to see a loads of stalls including a few vw aircooled specialists

Great show and as Deckie says well worth the ££! £10 to enter your car with passenger, but you get tea and sarnies and a finishers award too that's always worth £10 in itself! The reason many of these shows bump the price up to £20 on the day etc is cos they want people to pre book as it just means showing number as you drive in the gate, as opposed to 5mins stopping filling in form and paying etc. When you think of 1000+ cars doing that you can see why! Any of the bigger events such as Terenure all do the same.
Normally a good turnout of VWs at this and the mix of vehicles is amazing, always lots of "I haven't seen one of those since.................." cars : )

I opened the curtains this morning after a not so great nights sleep and saw it was pissing rain and got back into bed. I didn't reckon there'd be much turnout today given the weather.

Got there a bit late. well 3.45 and nearly everyone was gone :gosh:

The Show was a Wash-out unfortunately. We arrived about 9am and it was dry and not too windy. Started to set-up our stand and as soon we had the tent up the rain started to fall. By about 11am I think most of the cars that were coming were in and the place looked EMPTY! By about 1.30pm people were packing up and heading home even the traders weren't hanging around. We did the same about 2pm and I was home drying out my clothes and warming up with a nice cuppa tea by 3.30pm! :)

I still have your Hoodie...tried selling it but people were more looking for raincoats. ;)

Here's our little set-up
