The speedo on the bug has kacked it and I'm looking for a replacement..

Would anyone have a KPH version of the 71 speedo that they'd be willing to part with?

They're not cheap.... German ebay was around 90 euro plus carriage when I was looking for one for the yellow bug.

Monika probably isn't any cheaper but at least you know that you've got comeback if it turns out to be faulty

140.... struggling to do 100 at the mo until i swap out the engine for the one caddy built up! do want to wreck compleats engine before i give it back to him!!!

the lack of fuel gauge may be a slight prob

what did it come out of?

Came out of an early '72 if I recall correctly. I think fuel gauge was an option from the factory upon request at the time so some had them some hadn't.

I have a box full of other speedo's but I think most are MPH, I'll have a look and see. Do you have a photo of your speedo?
