This is just an idea and I’m probably not the one to be organising this but I spotted in the “Diary Dates” of the retro classics magazine that this the RIAC Picnic in the Park is on in the 21st of July in Marley Park in Dublin and instead of doing that months monthly meet we have a club section at the show? It’s on a Wednesday or Thursday. As I’ve said this is just idea may not suit everyone.

It's a great idea Noah but the problem is that this is a Thursday afternoon event (4m) so people would most likely have to take a half day from work to get there and set up on time. Lovely place to chill and great idea for an event but too early for most people I'd say

It's obviously aimed at retirees from Dublin. Start at 4pm, they'll be home and in their slippers in time for the 6 O'clock news

Yeah was there but only a handful of VWs, about 30 minis and 40 MGs
