Here Comes the Sun - Shankill Castle Kilkenny - Sunday 14th April

I'm delighted to announce that Here Comes the Sun will return again this year for the third installment.

The venue again is the beautiful setting of Shankill Castle, Paulstown Kilkenny on Sunday 14th April
Cost is €8 per head. This includes:
Coffee
Selected cake
Event sticker
Access to the Castle grounds

This is more like a coffee morning than a full show. We'll gather in the beautiful surroundings of Shankill Castle, grab Coffee and Cake and after a few hours will head off for a short spin.

Space for regular cars will be limited inside so anyone bring trailers should leave them at the school car park just opposite the main entrance.

We need to use the side entrance which is 1/2 a km up the road from the main entrance (follow these co-ordinates)

Just throwing it out there that it'd be great to gather a few Oval window beetles together on the day so if you have one please come along. (I suppose I'll EVEN accept those split window ones )

Only a week and a half to go. Lets hope the weather is on our side!

This is the best event! The surroundings, the food and great coffee and of course, some cool aircooled VWs. What more could you ask for?

Thanks a million to everyone who made the trip to Shankill Castle today.
This was the 3rd time I've put on the event and it was the busiest one yet!
Completely unbeknownst to me Eircooled sponsored 2 prizes which went to Noel (Beige Westy) and Rocky (stunning Irish Oval).

The Owners of Shankill Castle were delighted with today and already mentioned "next year" so hopefully we get similar weather to today which really helped!
I'll post some pics but have had loads posted in WhatsApp groups and through Facebook so no idea who took what.
