"Here Comes the Sun" - Shankill Castle Kilkenny, 10th April

Us Kilkenny folks are organising a coffee morning/meet in Shankill Castle, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny on Sunday 10th April.

Shankill Castle will be a fantastic setting for all of us to meet up and spend a few hours getting back to normality around some german tin.
It's situated just off junction 7 (Paulstown) on the M9.

• Meeting time is 11:00 (until 1:00ish) After that we will head away in convoy for a short cruise for anyone up for it
• We will need to go in by the side entrance which is 1/2 a km up the road from the main entrance (follow these co-ordinates)

• The coffee shop in there only opens at 11:00 but they will open the gates from 10:30 that morning.

Cover charge is €5.50 per head.
This will also cover:
Tea or Coffee
+
Scone or Cake
+
Event Sticker

*Space for regular cars will be limited inside so anyone bring trailers should leave them at the school car park just opposite the main entrance.

a few of us are bringing old BMX’s to display alongside the cars so if you have an old bike bring it along

Only a few days to go folks.

As this is more of a coffee morning/meet than a full blown show we've decided that after spending a few hours at Shankill Castle anyone who is up for it will all head off together for a 20 minute cruise into KFC Kilkenny for lunch.

I know this won't suit everyone but it would be great to extend the morning like this before heading home for anyone who's up for it

I have a couple of friends from Kilkenny that are friends of the owners of Shankill Castle. Is it cool if they pop out to see the meet? They r meeting with the family for coffee anyway! One is a pure a petrolhead!

Yes, no prob. Unfortunately I have to charge €5.50 per head as they won’t have a till in the cafe as they’re only opening up the place for us but everyone coming will get Coffee, Cake, sticker and keyring.
