My brother is selling his MG. Its a 1998 silver MGF. Its in good nick and was nicely resprayed when my brother bought it. It's a smart looking car, has low mileage and is very quick. He's looking for around €2750 for it.

I'll get some pics up soon and some more info when I'm talking to him next. He just wants rid of it because he's in college and needs the money.

Any questions, either post them here and I'll try to answer them, or give him a call on 087-6220943. His name is Simon.

This car is still for sale and is open to any reasonable offers. Really! We need it sold.

There's also an Audi A6 available. Dark grey metallic, 2l Turbo petrol, leather interior, 7cd changer, 4 electric windows, 68,000 kms, service history, immaculate condition with lots of nice gadgets, and we'd be looking for around the €16k mark for that too, but open to offers as well.

The Audi is manual, 6 speed. Pretty good on juice too. My dad is stuck with it really and he never keeps a car that long. He wants to get a 4x4 of some description. I'll get a pic of the MG later. Its silver and very clean.

I know how your dad feels. Some wanker in Windsor sold me a crap car as well just before he got fired. Like your dad I only bought it off him coz I felt sorry for him. Like your dad I am now stuck with it. Ah well - we live and learn.

(P.S. If anyone wants a 3 cylinder washing machine eh I mean VW Polo I am happy to take offers)

What kind of a 4x4? How about a 3.0TDI Toureag - its a commercial though, if that makes any difference.

Yeah the lads are right about selling petrols at the moment.
Even a 06 diesal would be hard to sell, considering a 2008 A6
road tax is €150. Great car best of luck with the sale.

hey daragh, I am only messin - my missus loves her Polo.

What actually happened (this is no lie) was...

I was in the pub with Ross and he started trying to sell me a car. I said no. He kept trying. I kept saying no. I then recalled a conversation I had with Edel about her ideal car and with a wicked smile I set Ross an "impossible" challenge. On a bank holiday Friday I gave him one week to find a

mint Polo in a Nissan dealership
less than 10k miles
1 lady owner
allow wheels (genuine VW)
fsh
met silver paint
5 door
cd + alarm + electric windows
less than 2 years old
with finance organised and approved at a good rate
take a trade in on a golf that was blatently not healthy

I'd say by about lunchtime Wednesday I had a new car!! The only reason they fired you Ross is because you kept selling VWs and it was Nissan.
