sorry, only saw this now...
SOLD, SOLD, SOLD
The Ghia is a 1971 Cabrio model, imported from California 5-6 years ago. When I got it I fitted a new front beam with adjusters, new discs and calipers and replaced the shoes on the back.
I took it off the road after driving it for a year (had it at the Limerick show in 2002ish when it was held out in UL). I had any rust cut out and replaced with new metal. This included the sills, rear bumper hangers, lhs air inlet channel and the lhs rear seat bench as well as completely redoing a bad repair running down beside the bonnet. All new metal was let in and then Hammerited, just to protect it before paint.
And then it got pushed into the garage in Cork when I moved to Galway, where it has sat waiting since
So, basically the car has sound mechanicals with no rust in the body. What it needs is paint, freshen up the interior and a new hood. I was restoring this car for myself and if I could shift the 356 and maybe something else I'd bring it to Galway to finish it off.
Couple of pics...Fuchs not included
