I'm hoping for a hundred grand but I'd better get a Lotto plus tonight to cover that as I'm pretty sure I'll fall well short of my target.

Seriously though, it's on a no reserve auction. If your interested bid to win, the highest bidder gets great van.

Just to clarify, it's not sold but I only realized today that potential UK buyers could not see the listing. It is a RHD so really UK and Irish buyers would be most interested and I wouldn't want that large market deprived of the option to bid.

Unfortunately after about an hour and a half, to be fair a very helpful eBay helpdesk person, we agreed that using 'An Post' to move a 1.5 ton camper worldwide was impractical and the only way to include the UK was to re-list. I e-mailed the 3 bidders personally explaining the reason for ending the auction but unfortunately the 'watchers' I can't contact as I don't get their details.

So hopefully (1) with a greater market I get the price it deserves and (2) anyone on this side of the Irish Sea who's interested bids enough to avoid a ferry crossing.

Many thanks to the caller who highlighted the fact that the bus was not visible to UK buyers. That's sorted now and apologies again to the bidders. Let's get going again.

yea theres alot of tossers out there who havnt a clue how ebay works but you might be lucky there's prob a few snipers waiting in the backround.
i hope you get a good price for it.

I think the Karmann Ghia was my second purchase on eBay and I'm a great eBay'er :drinkbeer:......paid a small fortune for a car with a truly rotten front beam and well dodgy brakes. Both sorted now but how I ever made it back from Edinburgh that cold December night, I will never know.

Anyway I met a few people who seemed really serious about bidding and I hope one of them gets the van.

But then if someone is waiting in the long grass for a 20:59:59 bid and they pay more.....that's gonna feel better in the pocket
