No happy to report I didn't buy it,I have my eye on something else!
The field was dry & the day stayed dry but cold. There were a few beetles
for sale all over priced IMO ,couldn't get a price on the trailered one but it sold,
so someone is going to be busy.

LHD is so easy. after a few mins you'll be flying around the place.
Re: importing from the US, I can help you from start to finish. Give me a buzz at any time and I'll talk you through it.

The one on the right Eddie.

Over heard the guy telling somebody that he sold the red beetle on the trailer for €900, all the parts you can't see are inside it.

thanks!, got a nice blind for the back window in sandown, also a reversing light
a set of original snow flakes, & you cant see it in the picture cos some clown stuck a flyer over it, but i got a perfect helphos light for the windscreen, yeah those wheels realy do it for me, me & ray were crusing up from rays pad in cashel & rays mate joined us in his
88 red top engined manta gtj, he kept laughing at us & kept looking for a race!
he was up behind me flashing his lights & egging me on to put the foot down!
we were only doing 50 or 60 as we had the kids with us, but i had to teach this opel man
a lesson..... so i launched it looking in my mirror i could see him dissapear into the distance..
when we met up at the show, he was gob smacked! he told me he gave his manta all
he could & just gave up as i dissapeard in the distance, the show was good & i picked up an orignal old bush radio which looks realy cool on the back seat of my bug.
i didnt enter the car, as i was to busy looking around the place, next plans are a nice set of outs & some nice yellow fog lights as i couldnt get any i liked at sandown

There were a good few bugs to be seen actually. I think this is my favourite photo from the show. Don't know who the man is!
