Great little meet except for being frozen.

Good to see you Britt and thanks for the spin in the Split. Cracking bus.

Enjoyable meet this evening...Eddie's food was good. :)

Just left Britt on the M50 heading towards the M1...safe home!

Flash's bus was certainly worth waiting for, great work by the Knightleys.

Also nice to meet Brian for the first time...even though you've been to many a Dublin meet before. ;)

See you all at the AGM.

Just in at Shane's place. Gotta say thanks again to John knk for helping out wihj the 21 Window. It was nice to see everybody and Both Brians and Flashes and Hugo's Bus were new to me. Gordon that Bus rocks and Brian's Bus was awesome. There's a very high standard of VW here in Ireland. See everybody at the AGM! OH I just had a guy email me about a 23 Window for sale!!!!

Another great meeting despite the cold weather. (Although it was lovely and warm in the car I was sitting in, Steve's Saab 93 with heated seats:D)
Flash's bus looks great (apart from the colour:p)

It still amazes me how far through diehard VW fans will travel to meet other VW nuts, Flash came down from Navan, Rocky has to go to Wexford and Britt came from California or was it Portrush (Still a long drive).

The Samba on the trailer looked good.

A great meet and nice way to wrap up 2011. Gordon picked me up in his new bus "Albert" and I even got to drive her/ him home. A fantastic bus, well done Gordon. Looking forward to more aircooled meets in the New Year...

It was a great way to end the year, except for the chill factor. Yes, Darren did drive Albert home (had to be done - it's a friendship thing), and he drove him like he owned him, and it sat so well on the road. Thanks so much for all the comments about Albert, they are much appreciated, but they are all down to the fantastic job John Knightly and Co. did to turn Albert out the way he is. It was great to show him off at the meet, but I can't wait for the Summer meets up in Johnnie Fox's to show Albert off in the daylight/sunlight. Hopefully I'll have new foams and headliner in by then, and Albert will be as cool as penguin p1ss!!! (If that is possible to be cooler than he is already!) Here are my pics from the meet, hope you like them.
